Governance cues for low-code programs inside Vietnamese enterprises
2025-02-14 · Lan Pham
Low-code adoption in Vietnam often stalls between enthusiastic pilots and audit-ready operations. We have watched teams succeed when they pair builder freedom with explicit data classification rules and named approvers for production switches.
Start by inventorying connectors against your data residency commitments. Many vendors offer regional endpoints, but the default tenant may still route logs elsewhere until you flip a toggle. Document those toggles in a living appendix, not a slide deck from week one.
Second, require peer review for workflows that touch personally identifiable information, even when the builder insists the volume is small. The review can be lightweight—a recorded Loom plus a checklist—but skipping it invites rework when legal asks for evidence.
Finally, schedule quarterly retros that include finance. Usage-based billing surprises are the fastest way to lose executive sponsorship. When finance understands which automations saved hours versus which merely shifted work, budgets stay rational.
